Please send a $25.00 nominating fee. This will be credited toward your entries on the day of the show. ALL ENTRIES RECEIVED BY 

April 15 WILL RECEIVE A RAFFLE TICKET FOR A CHANCE TO WIN A 8X10 PHOTO DONATED BY  “Born in a Barn Photography”, OR OTHER GREAT PRIZES.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

  1. All decisions made by the judge are final.
  2. Show Management has the right to combine or cancel classes at their discretion.
  3. Anyone wishing to ride on the premises on the day of the show must fill out, and have completed the release of liability form and turn into the show office prior to riding.
  4. Proper show attire is required.ASTM-SEI approved helmets with a harness is required for anyone on horseback while on the property.
  5. NO DOGS ALLOWED! We have several watch dogs on the property.
  6. We allow horses to be ridden by more than one rider in the same class. That includes hunter classes and flat classes that are scheduled to be split.
  7. Adding or dropping of classes must be made in the show office prior to the start of the class.
  8. A minimum of two riders must enter for a class to be held otherwise the class may be combined or cancelled.
  9. No cross entry between divisions, including flat classes.
  10. Lunging and warm ups must be done in designated areas only.
  11. Refunds will be giving only if management cancels a class. You will not receive a refund for missed classes. There will be a 60 second gate call for all remaining riders at the end of each class.
  12. We accept Cash and Check Only. A $25.00 fee for any returned checks.
  13. All exhibitors, parents, guests and trainers are expected to exhibit good sportsmanship.

CLASSES AND DIVISIONS

 

WALK TROT:  Open to riders that have never cantered in a horse show. Obedience Class- Riders may be asked to demonstrate a circle, back, sit the trot, halt.

 

CROSSRAIL : Open to riders who have never shown over a course of fences 1’9” in height at a horse show. Riders may trot or canter fences.

 

Leadline :  Leadline will be held at the walk only. Handlers must  have a leadline attached to the bridle. Judge may ask rider simple questions such as; name/color of mount, point to reins, or stirrups.

 

GREEN RIDER : Open to riders who have never shown over a course of fences 2’3 in height at a horse show.

 

SHORT STIRRUP :  Open to riders 11 AND UNDER  who have never shown over a course of fences 2’6 in height at a horse show.

 

LONG STIRRUP :  Open to riders 12 AND OVER who have never shown over a course of fences 2’6 in height at a horse show. Class will be split 12-17 and 18 & over if entries allow.

 

MODIFIED : Open to riders who have never shown over a course of fences 2’9 in height at a horse show.

 

OPEN: Open to all riders. Professionals may show in hunter classes.

 

CANYON MEDAL CLASSES: To be judged on equitation with 2 USEF tests included in the course. Additional testing at the discretion of the judge.
