2008 Summer Camp Your Riding Adventure Begins Here! Nestled in the Foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains is where you will find our equestrian paradise. Rainbow Canyon Ranch, is one of the leading hunter/jumper barns on the West Coast. Rainbow Canyon Ranch also operates a first-rate Riding School, that offers horseback riding lessons to the public.  If you are looking for a Summer Day Camp that provides excellent instruction and experienced horses in a safe and fun environment, then our riding program is for you. Summer Day Camp  Our program is designed to lay a solid foundation in sound horsemanship skills and riding proficiency, with an emphasis on safety and fun. Horse Masters I - $380.00 w/discount, $405.00 Regular Price Ages 7 to 17 years old.  Includes 1 lesson per day. Horse Masters II - $480.00 w/discount, $505.00 Regular Price Ages 7 to 17 years old.  Includes 2 lessons per day. Tiny Tots - $300.00 with discount, $325.00 Regular Price Ages 4 to 6 years old.  Includes 1 lesson per day. Activities Students will enjoy daily riding lessons, lectures on horse care, demonstrations, games and various craft activities.  By the end of each session each camper will have learned how to groom, tack, bathe and properly take care of the horse. All campers will have a Horse Decorating contest on Thursdays. There will be a Family Show & Tell at 2:30 every Friday, parents don't forget to bring your video camera to tape your child's equestrian presentation. Bring a sack lunch for the afternoon break, and do not forget the carrots for your favorite horse. Sessions Horse Masters I - July 8-11 Horse Masters II - July 15-18 Tiny Tots - July 22-25 Horse Masters III (pending interest) - August 5-8  Camp is Tuesday through Friday.
